Buisness Cards

Hi Everyone!

I was thinking the other day that it would be cool to have business cards made up for everyone. It would be cool for events like the launch to give out to guests who ask for your details and also good advertising for Sinister Beauty's.

We could get ones with a photo on the back (One from our first set?) and the CB logo on it. I had a look into prices online, looks like we could get around 250 each for around $50 - $60 However, im sure we could bargain it down seen as we are all pretty girls and boys!I might send of some emails today asking companies if they will do us a deal???

i thought we could choose our own colours and pictures for the back. Im happy to take ownership of this one... as in organizing ect... Ill make up a mock today at work and pop it on photo bucket and post it later

So far i was thinking they may say something alone the lines of:



What does everyone think about this? Willing to pay? Not to pay? Good Idea? Bad Idea?

i think this is an awesome idea lovely!!
it will make it better for approaching shoot locations too...im off to ask around a few venues today and a business card would make it a lot more professional, better impression

i know that you can design your own cards on the net.. a lot cheaper than getting it done sometimes with a company..

I'd be happy to help out with buiness cards. Design & Printing.

My prices are as follows:
250 (black and white, 1 sided, design inc) = $30 + p&h.
250 (full colour, 1 sided, design inc) = $75 + p&h

I know you can get em done cheaper by getting them printed online, which is cool with me (it's where i get em done too), but difference is you will have a professional, custom design.

Id also reccomend having a standard "corporate" business card with the sinister beauties logo, and just change the text to suit... it saves $$$ on design, and keeps a standard image.

I think it's an EXCELLENT idea and very important for a professional looking organisation!
The text should be standardised with the photos size. It would be cool to have double sided so one side will have the SB logo and some text with the website address, and the other side is contact info for the individual.
Now i don't really know how far do you want to take this project, but if you're going to act as an agency representing talent under the umbrella of SB, then perhaps it should be just the individual's user name on one side but all bookings and contact info done through the admin contact system.
If you want to keep this as open fun as possible then put the individual's full contact details.
I also think to show off people's looks and skills in print, probably models' com cards are the best approach but they will cost a bit extra and I think it's too early for it right now, until everyone has enough photos and different looks to show.
My honest personal opinion is that we keep this as open, fun and accessible as possible, it's a really nice community setup for the like-minded and turning it into a commercial agency might prove to be a turn off for some and probably will mean that some others will miss out as well.

I am blown away! May-Z approached me a week or so ago with the idea and this is exactly what we are looking for from our SB's. I thank you all for your responses, I think staradrael's prices were fantastic too.
Also, I'm completely open to this May-Z if you'd like to take ownership, re mock ups, design etc...

I think this is also something that would really make a lasting impact from our branding...

I got my cards at www.moo.com and I'm really happy with them. I got the minicards done, cos they just look TOO cute to throw away.

EACH card can have a different photo in the back. All you pretty much need is a flickr account - I suggest we open a flickr group account for SB, then each member here can order it themselves and use the group flickr account and choose the photos they want at the back.

Careful with flickr. Read their fine print and look at where some images from the members have turned up without the members knowing about it!

When i looked at MOO i didnt have to use a flicker account, i was able to just upload from my mac. Realistically i wouldn't want 100 different cards id like maybe 4 different types so uploading wouldn't be a problem.

Doesnt seem as though many are interested though?
