Old stuff as inspiration

Post  hotrodmatt on Tue Aug 19, 2008 4:35 am

I found this pic today.

It was an advertising image for the 1957 Oklahoma Semi-Centennial celebrations.

I so wanna shoot something with similar flavour, kitsch innocence and optimism.

But you could be the comically evil Dr Zachary Smith...

IF Tarla like Barabarella how would you feel about Dr Duran Duran?

As long as the attitude is there... LOL

Actually I can't stop thinking sci-fi retro-futurist stuff. I've never even liked it before, but I can see so many themed shoots that I want to explore now!

im right into that retro futurist type stuff myself if you ever need a model for your other ideas.....reverse garbage (think you mentioned it before) - perfect place to make outfits and props etc. rubber, shoulder plates, weird hair pieces..?? that sort of thing?
