After you've been approved...
First off, CONGRATULATIONS!! and welcome to Sinister Beauties!!
So you're now part of the family and need to organise your first shoot.
If you need help in choosing a theme or not sure what's available email SBM at sinisterbeauties@live.com.au we're always happy to assist
Ideally it would be great to have 3 sets all up of yourself, of course, of different themes.
When contacting your photographer, please keep in mind the following:
* You must be clear about the theme you have chosen. Will this require a studio or on location?
* Let the photographer know the props you'll be bringing, if you'll require a makeup artist (not all photographers can help you with this)
* Stick to the date you pick with your photographer. Most photographers are extremely busy so make sure you attend your shoot on time and prepared.
* Above all show them your kick ass attitude, they may even want to work with you again in the future!!

Re: After you've been approved...
Clearly, if you are found in breach of your contract, your membership will be terminated immediately and you will be removed from the forum and website.
I know most of you have a myspace page, your images are NOT to be displayed without the SB logo and you MUST credit your photographer and MUA accordingly in the captions (where possible). We are here to promote our photographers and MUA's too. Keep that in mind

Re: After you've been approved...
oh im not talking bout not crediting photographers, MUA and the site in general but using the photos to promote ourselves
im just wondering as me and my image are intertwined with my band and i wanted to use some of my solo shoots to also promote my band

Any photos that are of your shoot need to have our watermark on them otherwise they can not be used for any other purpose.
If our watermark is visible and clear you may use them but only after your set has gone live.

Re: After you've been approved...
so we can use any of the shots from shoots not supplied to you (over the 50 shot limit) cause we cant watermark them?
Re: After you've been approved...
So the way i am reading this is that, SB is claiming full and exclusive rights to all photos taken at any SB shoot? I am aware that all models have signed contracts which may say this but not photographers, it may be worth clearing up as this situation is not always standard practice, particularly when it is all being done for free. It'd definitely pay to alleviate any confusion that may arise in the future.

Only the pictures supplied to us for your set have to be water marked and go live before you use them for any other purpose. Any pictures from the shoot you did not supply to us you can use for what ever reason you like with out our water mark, this includes photographers using them too.

Thanks Kitten, I couldn't have said it better myself. We're trying to promote you, not own you or your images

So, Kitten to confirm.
For the photographers (not models), Are they able to use the shots, submitted to SB without watermarks after they go live on the site? For example, if they had an exhibition and wanted to present their set or if they show it on their own personal website, would it have to have the SB logo on it???
